Teaching and laboratories

Academic Licensing

A future-facing access path for courses, teaching laboratories, capstones, and supervised academic work.

Academic use should teach methods and limitations, not turn software output into an unquestioned answer. Institutional access is discussed by course, lab, users, product, and support need.

Course use

Structured exercises can separate acquisition, calibration, measurement, uncertainty, interpretation, and reporting.

Discuss a course

Teaching laboratories

Lab access can be scoped around devices, users, sample data, assignment workflow, and faculty oversight.

Discuss lab access

Capstone and thesis work

Student research requires an explicit protocol, supervisor, data-governance plan, product boundary, and appropriate validation review.

Review research guidance
01

What an academic plan may include

Institution, faculty contact, course or lab, product, estimated users, academic term, permitted environments, sample or institution-provided data, support expectations, and teaching documentation.

02

What it does not replace

Academic access does not replace ethics approval, privacy review, accessibility obligations, instructor supervision, protocol validation, or professional judgment.

03

Current availability

Motion Lab can be evaluated through its current free and open-beta access. HF Studio EDU is invite-only. Broader institutional licensing and access to ErgoThrive or MotionLab Performance remain scoped discussions; B1 Ergonomics is currently a non-commercial catalogue foundation.
