Is Biosystems One a software company or a research organization?
Biosystems One Inc. is the parent company behind specialized engineering software platforms. Its work combines software engineering, technical methods, and research-oriented validation.
Are the products medical devices or diagnostic tools?
No such claim is made. The current products are not presented as diagnostic systems, substitutes for clinical judgment, or automatic safety or regulatory decision tools.
Which product can I use today?
Motion Lab is available as an open beta. ErgoThrive is in launch preparation. HF Studio is an invite-only closed beta. B1 Ergonomics exposes a non-commercial catalogue foundation, while MotionLab Performance remains a validation-stage iOS foundation rather than an App Store release.
Do you offer a free trial?
Motion Lab currently provides free and open-beta access without a payment card. Other products use request-based evaluation or discovery conversations because their release stages differ.
Can a university or research laboratory use the products?
Yes, where the product and protocol are appropriate. Research and academic arrangements are discussed separately so data handling, teaching needs, validation, attribution, and access can be defined.
Do you claim HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or regulatory compliance?
No. The Trust Center explicitly identifies current controls and a future assurance roadmap without presenting planned work as completed certification.
Where is product data stored?
The answer depends on the product. Motion Lab processes source media locally in the browser and optional sync excludes it. ErgoThrive and HF Studio use controlled cloud workspaces. MotionLab Performance processes video on device and does not retain raw video. B1 Ergonomics currently publishes catalogue fixtures rather than customer records.
How do I report a security concern?
Use the private vulnerability-reporting instructions in the Trust Center. Do not include secrets, customer data, or public exploit details.
How do I request support?
Use the support page or email support@biosystemsone.com with the product, browser, approximate time, expected behavior, observed behavior, and sanitized reproduction steps.
Can I submit confidential data through the contact form?
No. Contact and collaboration forms are for non-confidential initial inquiries. Do not submit medical records, credentials, proprietary workplace information, or unpublished sensitive research.
